That's why, before you have to change everything that you need to change the way we approach the concept of innovation.
I read with great interest and do not hide some evil smile, which published today by Riccardo Luna at CheFuturo! with stories of innovation Top 100 2013. Save yourself and Rocco Siffredi was all simple (we hope to have better luck next year!). I especially loved reading the responses on various fronts, with the inevitable, the banter and reciprocal due honor among the various classified. Stuff that even the whole army, the clergy, Pope John, after his coronation in the person of the year on the cover of time.
I want to conclude with a question and a long observation. What is innovation? A seemingly simple question. Just look at any magazine or blog among the most noble take the cue and try to give a definition.
We do, however, one more effort. And try to look at it from another direction. Innovation, real, in Italy, we have a top-notch perfection, to which all the world looks with respect and reverence. The airline industry to this space, marine transport, construction, design, just to mention a few examples. Not wanting to remove anything for the credibility of the characters listed in the ranking, but I of course I noted that, to date, these are the realities, just referred to, to be true and only essential services, the inclusion of engine based on the progress of our civil society.
What I find strange that systematically, innovation is described with laziness something-let the hyperbole is much more land.
Beyond the specific case of ratings that make your time, which is something that I see more and more often done to "innovation" are the only minor by-products self-referential circuit, for fifteen years, thanks to some journalism, chewed the term only for the vomitarlo, in turn, in the dish more greedy.
"Innovation" has become an occasion for many events that bloom every year in every corner of the country, the only benefit the visibility of the sponsor. Approval of the policy levers through which tomorrow can be asked of any institutional provisions of the Bill. Innovation is the epitome of a small army of characters who alternate turns into task force ministries with a few ideas and even fewer results. The black hole, in which millions of euros of valuable public hijack money to keep a narrow oligarchy composed of who that money. Innovation is now an opaque to showcase initiatives that need visibility.
Here's to the pretense of wanting to change everything, just change the approach will be a healthy sign of maturity. More inspiring attitude of childlike AWE you feel before a normal Smartphone application marketplace, or startup, which repeatedly there gets hit in the face, just to hide the bulk of dirt at the bottom.
